Restaurant Scene

Ernie’s Boondock
Sam Summers, who owns Wooly’s and Up-Down, has recently opened a new spot in the East Village called Ernie’s Boondock. It’s at 440 E Grand in a renovated 1920’s service station, and its vibe is decidedly small town– domestic beers for $3, a jukebox, and diner burgers and fries served out of a 1972 Winnebego. Sounds like home.

When: Open 3pm – 2am daily
