Looking Ahead

Father’s Day
It is Father’s Day this Sunday. If your father lives far away, today’s the day to get a card in the mail. If you’re lucky enough to be a Dad, or have a Dad in Des Moines, there are several options of things to do around the metro this Sunday. Here are a few fun options I found on desmoinesparent.com:

Des Moines Parks and Rec is offering fathers free admission to city pools and aquatic centers on Sunday; just pay for admission for a child or children. LINK

There will be an historic baseball game played at Living History Farms this Sunday at 1:30pm. It will be an 1870’s rules game, and it is included in the price of admission. LINK

All fathers will have free admission at the Des Moines Botanical Gardens on Sunday. LINK

There will be a Father-Child Mini Golf Tournament up at the Jester Park miniature golf course on Sunday from 10-3pm. LINK
