Looking Ahead

Rose Farm
Have you heard of Rose Farm down in Norwalk? If you haven’t, it is actually a farm– where they grow vegetables and flowers, have chickens, keep bees and harvest hay. You will find them at the Valley Junction farmers’ market, among other places. It’s also a beautiful spot you can visit and explore. But there’s another thing they’re working on that lands them in this category– they have me Looking Ahead to early 2020, when they plan to open what they’re calling– The Retreat. The Retreat will be a spot that will host a curated calendar of Master Classes and Learning Lectures in intimate class sizes in a beautiful setting. The calendar isn’t released yet, but the entire situation is giving me heart eyes. I will update you when this vision becomes a reality, but in the meantime, you can enjoy their weekly event called ‘Sundays at the Farm’. There is one this Sunday, August 25th from 5-8pm. There’s live music, delicious food and an easy way to relax and enjoy their beautiful setting.
