The Thing You Don’t Know About

Inner Space Salt Lounge
We talked about Inner Space when it opened last September, but a quick reminder that it’s a great place to look for classes and experiences to focus on supporting your physical and mental health. A friend recently attended a documentary showing there, and she reminded me of the Himalayan salt room that they have on site. If you’re feeling this Iowa winter, a 45-minute session in the salt room could be the ticket. A single session is $35, and usually 3 for $90, but their Facebook page is showing a special right now- buy two, get one free.
Where: Inner Space, 1251 Keosaqua Way
Cost:
Single session is $35, 3 for $90 — special shown on Facebook– buy 2 get 1 free

The Iowa Caucus
If you’re planning to caucus on Monday, February 3rd, do you know where you’re heading that evening? Do you know that you can check in early, before January 17th? If you’re a Republican– I think things are pretty nailed down for your choice this year. For Democrats, you’re less than 20 days away, and I’m not saying you should have your choice locked down, but at least make plans now to be there. By far, the best resource I’ve found is thecaucuses.org, which will show you exactly where you’ll need to be on February 3rd, and will allow you to check-in early by January 17th. The event that night begins at 7pm– if you’re in line by then, they can’t start until you’re in the room, but don’t be late– late arrivals will not be permitted. One more thing– you have to be a registered Democrat to participate in the caucus, but you can register that night if necessary.
